Progress so far this semester

My progress so far this year has been great and I'm feeling much better. I have dropped 17 pounds since I found out that I was celiac and had to go on a strict diet and a 40 min workout everyday.

In November I had an idea of taking English online ( b/c I'm good at it) so I could add a PE class for next semester because knowing me I would get lazy and not workout when I got home. Ever since I started losing weight my confidence has been going up and my pants size has been going down. I started in September at a size 24-26 and now i am a 20-22 which makes me feel better when I go to the store. I have also noticed that my bowling is improving b/c of my weight loss and my scores are now all in the 200s or close to it.

On the weekends one of my fav things to do is to play Just dance on the laptop by just putting it at eye level and just going for it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FOeebil3eKY  is an awesome person to get high quality just dance videos.

I believe that after all my hard work I deserve 80% or a high B b/c I am really putting effort in to try my best and accomplish my goals of losing 50 pounds by the last day in June.

Fencing with get fit class

When I heard we were going to try fencing I was ecstatic b/c I've never tried it before. Lots of people talk about how fun fencing is and my first thought was, I'm going to be tired after this class and sore by the end of the week. Once we started I got right into it and had a blast and it sure helped me with my bowling on Saturday. (bowled a 236)

I have never tried fencing before or even seen it before my eyes so it was exciting that I was going to see it and try it. Our coach was very nice and she explained everything so it made me less nervous when we started. The first time we tried the fencing swords was awesome but when i got hit i hurt b/c my friend hit me right on the chest where there was no protection.

How I feel about trying new things is first nerves hit me then anxiousness, excitement and lastly joy. I enjoyed letting lose, just going for it and winning. I don't think I would change anything about this experiance I had fun, I learned new things and got to have fun with my friends and class. I do believe I did my best considering when we started with the fencing swords I won almost every round against my opponent and I won the first game where you had to put your hand behind your back and hit your opponent out and try to be last one in the square.

What I learned from this experiance is that my classmates really love to fight with the fencing swords and that I am really good at fencing. When I am older I wouldn't mind continuing fencing because I had a great time but those protection suits are REALLY hot!
